La trame est en 95% laine de teintes blanches, noires, grises et rousses d'origines francaises et filés à la filature Fonty.
La chaine est composée de 5% de chanvre blanc d'origine francaise.

La technique Twining consiste à entrelacer et enrouler deux fils de laine autour de chaque fil de chaine en chanvre. La chaine devient le squelette du tissage, la structure invisible, mise en chair, en laine.
Au pied du lit ou de son fauteuil preféré, tout moelleux, aux teintes minerales, et motif tressé, il acceuillera votre regard et vos pied tout en douceur.
Entretien délicat, secouer et aérer régulièrement, en cas de tache, laver à la main à l'eau froide ou en machine en programme laine et faible essorage. Si c’est une tache grasse, saupoudrer de la terre de diatomée dessus, laisser imbiber 30min et bien frotter et secouer.
Contre les mites, asperger d’huile essentielle de cèdre ou lavande diluée dans de l’eau tout les 1 ou 2 mois.

Hand woven rug on a tapestry loom with the twining technique for the body and macramé technique for the fringes.
The weft is made of white, grey, black, and reddsish wool from France spun at the Fonty mill and composes 95% of the rug.
The warp is made of french hemp which composes 5% of the rug.

The twining technique consists of interlacing threads around each warp thread. The warp becomes the skeleton of the weaving, the invisible structure. The weaving is given body by the wool weft.
At the bedside, or by your favorite armchair, soft, with earthy and mineral tints and braided motifs, it will delicatley greet your eyes hands, and feet.
Delicate cleaning, shake and leave outside regulary, in case of stains, wash by hand with soap and cold water or machine wash on delicate or wool program with a soft spin-drying program. If it's a greasy stain, sprinkle diatomaceous on it, let it sit 30min, brush and shake. Against mites, spray cedar or lavander essential oil diluted in water every 1 or 2 months.
